Maurice Porter is regarded as one of the finest Criminal Defense Attorneys in Maine. He began his practice in 2001 here in Oxford County after three years of Criminal Defense work covering most of California’s Bay Area jurisdictions. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal Courts across the country.

Attorney Porter has defended people charged with Murder, Robbery, OUI, Theft, Conspiracy to Traffic Drugs, Sexual Exploitation, Rape, Burglary, and virtually every other charge prosecuted in the state of Maine.
After 10 years of practice covering Child Protective cases, Guardian ad Litem work, Protection from Abuse matters, and Criminal Defense, his practice is now focused solely on representing those who are charged with criminal conduct.
